The Detroit AI Health Equity Collaborative is a partnership of trusted local organizations that helps Detroit nonprofits adopt AI responsibly and affordably. We build safe, vetted tools once, share them across every partner, and keep the community in charge of how AI is used.

We're not a single app β we're a collaborative. Anchored by the Center for Augmenting Intelligence in Urban Health (CAI) and community partners across Detroit, we help local nonprofits adopt AI responsibly and affordably, without needing their own technical teams or expensive subscriptions.
Instead of every organization building its own tools, the Collaborative builds each tool once, adds safeguards and human review, and shares it through a common library. Each partner then deploys the tools their community needs β under their own name and brand β while shared governance and resident advisors set the rules.
